Frequently asked questions.

  • Yes. As a Registered Massage Therapist in Vaughan, my treatments are covered by most extended health insurance plans. At this time, direct billing is not available. You’ll pay me directly after your session, and I provide an electronic receipt for you to submit to your provider. Please check your plan for coverage details.

  • I accept e-transfer, debit, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and cash. An electronic payment receipt is sent the same day, and your insurance receipt follows shortly after.

  • I require 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations or missed sessions may be charged the full session fee. For full details, please see my Policies page.

  • Yes, by referral only. This ensures a safe and comfortable environment for all clients. If you were referred by an existing client or trusted mutual connection, please include their name when booking so your appointment can be confirmed.

  • If you are feeling unwell, it’s best to postpone your massage. Receiving treatment while sick can sometimes make symptoms worse, and I want you to be able to fully enjoy your session once you are better.

Cancellations made within 24 hours are subject to the full session fee. If you are able to reschedule your appointment right away, the cancellation fee is waived. This helps protect my schedule while giving you flexibility to rebook when you are feeling well again.

  • For studio sessions, please arrive 5–10 minutes early to complete your intake form and settle in. For mobile visits, I arrive early to set up my table, stool, and music.

  • Not at all. You are always in control of what feels comfortable. You may remain fully clothed, partially undressed, or undressed under professional draping.

  • I use BioOrigin nut-free massage oil, which is safe for sensitive skin and common allergies.

  • Massage does not have to hurt to be effective. You may feel tenderness as tension is released, but it should never feel sharp or unsafe.

  • Yes. Deep tissue does not always mean very firm pressure. With slow, intentional techniques, it is possible to reach deeper layers of muscle without overwhelming intensity. For this style of focused work, I recommend booking my Signature Therapeutic Massage, which can be tailored to light, medium, or firm pressure.

  • Yes. I provide prenatal and postnatal massage, including safe positioning with pillows and bolsters for maximum comfort. Abdominal and breast massage may also be included when appropriate.

  • Yes. Sessions are adapted to support your specific needs and long-term goals. I frequently work with clients managing chronic pain, postural strain, sports injuries, and recovery from surgery.

  • Enhancements such as cupping, aromatherapy, and full-body stretching are always included at no extra cost. Hot stones and hot towels are available exclusively for studio sessions.

Optional boutique rituals, such as scalp, hand, or foot treatments, may be added for an additional fee.

  • I do not accept tips. Massage therapy is a professional healthcare service. The best way to support my practice is by leaving a Google review or referring a friend.
